I LOVE new beginnings! This year started off beautifully with a wonderful engagement session in Beaufort, SC.  You expect the first Saturday in January to be freezing, but the weather could not have been more perfect! It was a fantastic day for this great couple! Virginia and Joey met up with me first at Old Sheldon Church Ruins, right outside of town.  This was the perfect backdrop for their session with aged twisty oaks, spanish moss, and gorgeous old world brick!  I had a great time framing these two in all of the beautiful arch ways.  Virginia and Joey were so sweet and I really enjoyed getting to know them more as we composed shots.  We drove into town and explored the water front together.  We found some really great trees and captured the last light of the day on the water.  I'm always so thankful for the couples I get to work with and these two made it so fun and easy.  Their affection for each other is kind and generous and I so enjoyed getting to photograph their love.  I can't wait for their big day in June!
